Before you begin to set up your Chromebook, make sure that you have a stable internet connection and a Google Account. If you do not have a Google Account, click here to create a Google Account.
Set Up Your Chromebook
Ready to start initial setup for your Chromebook? First, connect your Chromebook to a power source, and then power it on. Next, select your Language, Keyboard, and Network. Review the Google Chrome OS Terms, and then select Accept and continue. Sign into your Google Account; if you do not have one, select create a Google Account. Select an image to set as your account picture. This picture will be displayed on the main sign-in screen and status area, so pick a good one! You can also take a new picture if you do not want to use one of the provided ones. Once you have selected a picture, select OK. Now, take a tour to learn the ins and outs of your brand new Chromebook. You’re all set up and ready to go!
