Storage Share on 2025 Samsung TVs

The Storage Share feature lets you access files stored on your Galaxy phone or tablet using your 2025 Samsung TV. You'll be able to see your folders and files on a larger screen, which makes it easier to view important documents or photos. Storage Share can also be used with a smart monitor or projector!

Storage Share on 2025 Samsung TVs

Note
Storage Share is available on select Samsung TV, smart monitor, and projector models.

Storage Share requirements

The following requirements must be met to use Storage Share:

  • 2023 or later Galaxy phone or tablet model running One UI 7.0 or above.
  • The same Samsung account must be added to all devices.
  • The Storage Share setting must be enabled on all devices.
  • Bluetooth and Wi-Fi must be enabled on all devices.

Enable Storage Share

Follow the instructions below to turn on Storage Share when using your Samsung TV, smart monitor, projector, and Galaxy phone or tablet.

TV, smart monitor, or projector

  1. From the Home screen, navigate to and select Settings, and then select All Settings.
  2. Select Connections, and then select Storage Share to turn it on.

Galaxy phone or tablet

  1. Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Connected devices.
  2. Tap the switch next to Storage Share to turn it on.

Begin using Storage Share

Once Storage Share has been enabled, you can begin sharing your Galaxy device’s files.

  1. On your TV, navigate to and select Connected Devices.
  2. Tap Allow on your phone or tablet when prompted.

  3. You’ll be able to access your device’s storage, such as selecting folders and opening files, right from your TV!
  4. To stop sharing your device’s storage, simply turn off the TV. You can also open your device’s Notification panel by swiping down from the top right of the screen, and then tap the Storage Share notification. Tap Stop sharing storage.
