Manage Samsung phones or tablets with device administrators

Select Samsung devices provide corporations the ability to manage devices distributed to employees and adjust their authorization options. This includes the ability to turn off access to the Play Store, Samsung Apps, and the ability to install certain third-party apps.

Manage Samsung phones or tablets with device administrators

To check if your device has a device administrator, go to your device’s Settings, open the Search field, and then type "Device admin apps." This section may list some installed apps that require special permissions.

If your device was issued by your employer and you're experiencing issues with app installation or encountering restrictions, reach out to your employer's IT department to determine if these limitations are due to device policies.

If your device was purchased from a third party or retail store and you're using it as a corporate device, contact the previous owner or store for further assistance.
