Main screen and cover screen specs
Main screen
- Screen size: 10.0 inches

Continue apps on main screen
Use the Continue apps on main screen feature, which automatically opens apps from the cover screen on the main screen when the phone is unfolded.
To enable:
- Go to Settings > Display.
- Turn on the switch next to Continue apps on main screen.

Note: Screenshots from the cover screen may have reduced resolution when viewed on the main screen.
Keep in mind that when the phone is closed, the app will close. To reopen the app, simply tap the app icon.
Mirror the cover screen
Sync the cover and main screens for a seamless experience with Cover Screen Mirroring. This feature ensures both screens share the same layout, so changes on one screen automatically update the other.
- Pinch the Home screen, and then tap Settings in the lower right corner.
- Tap Cover screen mirroring, and then tap On.

Now, each page of the main screen will display two pages of the cover screen layout, keeping everything consistent and organized!
Adjust the screen rotation
By default, the Galaxy Z TriFold is set to Auto Rotate, automatically adjusting the display orientation based on how you hold it. This feature ensures a smooth and seamless viewing experience, whether you're using the device vertically or horizontally.
To lock the screen in Landscape mode:
- Turn the phone sideways.
- Swipe down from the top right corner to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap the Auto rotate icon to lock in Landscape mode.

- To return to Auto rotate, tap the Landscape icon in the Quick settings panel.

- To control the Home screen rotation, go to Settings, then tap Home screen, and then turn on or off the switch next to Rotate Home screen.

Rearrange the Home screens
Adjust the Home screen
- From any Home screen, pinch or touch and hold an empty space to enter Edit mode.
- Use the following options:
- Add a screen: Swipe left and tap the Add icon.

- Remove a screen: Swipe to the desired screen and tap the Delete icon (trash can).

- Set a main Home screen: Swipe to the desired screen and tap the Home icon (house).

- Change screen order: Drag and drop screens to reorder them.

- Use Google Discover or Samsung Free on/off: Swipe right on the Home screen, and then turn on the switch at the top of the page. Then, tap Samsung News or Google Discover.

- Add a screen: Swipe left and tap the Add icon.
Access Home Screen settings
- From any Home screen, pinch or touch and hold a space to enter Edit mode.
- Tap Settings, and adjust options like:

- App size: Adjust the size of app icons.
- App labels: Enable or disable labels for apps.
- Widget lables: Show or hide labels for widgets.
- Cover screen mirroring: Sync the cover and main screens.
- Home screen layout: Choose between separate Home and Apps screens or a unified layout.
- Home screen grid: Customize the grid layout to organize apps and widgets.
- Apps screen grid: Adjust the grid on the Apps screen.
- Folder grid: Set the grid size for folders to fit more apps.
- Add media page to Home screen: Swipe right to access a media page with your favorite services.
- Show Apps screen button on Home screen: Add a button for quick access to the Apps screen.
- Lock Home screen layout: Prevent accidental changes to your Home screen layout.
- Add new apps to Home screen: Automatically place newly downloaded apps on the Home screen.
- Hide apps on Home and Apps screens: Conceal apps you don't use frequently.
- App icon badges: Enable badges to see notifications for apps.
- Swipe down for notification panel: Open the Notification panel from anywhere on the Home screen.
- Rotate Home screen: Automatically rotate the Home screen when switching between portrait and landscape modes.
Lock the Home screen layout
- Touch and hold an empty spot on a Home screen, then tap Settings.
- Turn on the switch next to Lock Home Screen Layout to prevent items from being removed or repositioned.

Change the wallpaper and style
Change Wallpaper and style
- Pinch or touch and hold a Home screen to enter Edit mode.
- Tap Wallpaper and style, and then choose the following:
- Change wallpapers: Select preloaded wallpapers or upload your own picture or video.
- Color palette: Pick a color scheme based on your wallpaper.
- Dim wallpaper when Dark mode is on: Apply a darker tone to your wallpaper for better visibility.

Use Generative wallpapers
- Pinch or long-press a blank area on your Home screen to enter Edit mode.
- Tap Wallpaper and style, and then tap Generative in the Create with AI section.

- Pick a template or category, then select a prompt (white text), and then tap Generate Wallpaper.
- Choose a generated image, and then tap Set.

- Select where to apply it (Home or Lock screen), and then tap Next.
- Adjust the appearance, then tap Done.

Turn on Photo ambient Wallpaper
- Navigate to Settings, and then tap Wallpaper and style.
- Tap Change Wallpapers, then tap Photo ambient in the Create with AI section.

- Tap Try now, then Settings to configure the Weather app.
- Turn on the switch next to Disagree to allow permissions, and then tap Turn on from the Location Accuracy pop-up.

- Tap the Back icon, then choose a picture from your Gallery, and then edit it as desired.
- Tap Done when finished.
Customize the display settings

You can tailor the display on the Galaxy Z TriFold to your preferences. Just go to Settings > Display, and customize the following:
- Dark mode: Turn on or off for a sleek, eye-friendly interface.
- Brightness: Manually adjust the brightness slider, or enable Adaptive Brightness for automatic adjustments based on ambient light.
- Motion smoothness: Optimize animations for smoother performance.
- Eye comfort shield: Reduce blue light for better eye comfort.
- Adaptive color tone: Adjust colors based on ambient light.
- Screen mode: Choose between Vivid, Natural, or Custom color settings.
- Font size: Adjust text size for readability.
- Screen zoom: Zoom in or out for a customized view.
- Camera cutout: Hide or show the camera cutout.
- Screen timeout: Set the time before the screen turns off.
- Easy mode: Simplify the interface for easier navigation.
- Edge panels: Add shortcuts for quick access.
- Navigation bar: Customize buttons or switch to gesture navigation.
- Accidental touch protection: Prevent accidental touches when the screen is off.
- Touch sensitivity: Adjust touch responsiveness.
- Show charging info: Display battery status and charging time.
- Screen saver: Set a screen saver for a personalized touch.
Add Home screen widgets
Enhance the Home screen with Widgets, offering quick access to apps and information. Customize their size, location, and functionality to streamline your workflow and keep essential tools at your fingertips.
- Pinch or touch and hold a Home screen to enter Edit mode.
- Tap Widgets, then swipe to the desired widget, and then tap Add.

- To customize a widget, touch and hold the widget, and then select options like Create Stack, Remove, or Settings.
