Condensation forms on the microwave door

Your microwave's door isn't completely sealed so when condensation forms on the outside, some of it may get inside or between the glass panes. The most common form of condensation on the inside comes from the food you're cooking.
Inside the microwave
It is normal for condensation to form on the inside of the microwave, especially when you are cooking food with a high water content. This includes condensation that forms between the glass panes. The condensation will dissipate in time. You can also leave the door open to help it dissipate faster.
Outside the microwave
Condensation forming on the outside of the microwave comes from outside of the microwave. This is most common with over-the-range microwaves when cooking or boiling water on the cooktop below it. Some of this condensation may get inside the microwave as well, or between the door and the glass. Using lids on your cookware will reduce this type of condensation, and running the hood vent while cooking will help as well.
